Winter is the season when it matters most to keep the heat inside your home and sometimes a good insulation of the walls is not enough. A house can lose a large amount of heat through the windows, even when they are closed. In order to prevent heat loss, the most convenient solution is to seal your window before the arrival of the cold weather. For this, you will need bubble wrap foil, thin double-sided adhesive tape, duct tape and scissors.

The first step you need to do is clean the window frames from dust and dirt. If you do not do this operation, you risk that the tape will come off shortly. Once the frames are clean, the next step is to apply double-sided tape and then the bubble wrap. Make sure that the foil overlaps at the joints and fix it using duct tape, both on the sides of the window and horizontally.
